We’re comfortable with how to process and prorate invoices, but we’re wondering if there’s a way to customize the refund functionality a bit further. Specifically, when a patient ends their membership mid-term, our practice retains 10% of the refund to cover administrative and overhead costs. Right now, we handle this manually and try to stay as close as possible to that 10%—never going over. With recent changes in how our healthcare system handles check refunds, we now need to provide a copy of the invoice showing the exact refund amount. It would be ideal if Hint could automate or build in this 10% retention into the refund process for patients who paid by card or check.
