It is weird to make clients pay for a service and sign forms before they can schedule their appointment. If they can't first see if a timely or workable appointment availability exists, why would someone feel comfortable paying for the service first? Please make this all in one.

Is there a way for patients to view availability, choose appointment time &

then check out to confirm the appointment for 1-time services?

Currently the work around we’re using is to link to the service calendar,

allow the patient to book & have a ‘pay now’ button with a redirect to a

checkout link but this often gets missed by patients and allows them to book

without actually paying and then we have to collect payment on the back end.

If they use the ‘online sign up link’ it makes them pay before seeing what is

available.

Is there a better workflow for this situation? I thought I saw somewhere that

it is ‘planned’ but didn’t see a timeline. Would love to know how other

practices are handling this.
