All in One: Ability for refilled medications to update date range on a patient's current medications list. The patient medications list is really long on their clinical chart, and has duplicates (when a prescription is e-prescribed through veradigm, or in house: current workaround when a refill med is prescribed, it creates a new medication on their chart, they can then find the older duplicate and move it from current meds> past Meds, but this requires manual work and then now their past meds have a lot of duplicates making that section really long)
When a medication that has been prescribed before, gets refilled it would be nice to have it just update the existing entry and not create another separate/ duplicate medication ... Or if it could add as a series or something like you can click into that one entry of a current med, and see it's prescribed history over time (i.e. it expands).
I attached screenshots of the current process (notice the amount of duplicates, and a drawing of a possible solution)

Agree - this is definitely a more glaring issue. Any same medication that gets refilled should be updated/replaced on the med list. Not added to the list. Thanks!

This is one of the more glaring issues in my opinion. It's comically ridiculous how long the med lists get in Hint.

This is a huge problem - hope it gets prioritized soon!
