Add Notes to Fax

Would love to be able to communicate with other staff members regarding a fax that remains in the inbox. Would like to add a note or sticky note field that would allow me to put comments like "Called and left voicemail date and time" so that future staff to review these faxes knows what the past actions taken are and what is next (aka why is this still in the inbox)

Remember in the old days, when you received a stack of faxes, and you put a
post it on it with directions for then your medical assistant to do. Or if you
really didn’t care, just wrote a paragraph on the fax itself with the next
step.
Well I’ve been asking for a “add a note” to the fax section, like the post it,
so I can communicate with my staff what to do about faxes. Yes they did built
out the task sections. But I wanted a stop flag on the fax with exact next
directions. 2.5 years later… I figured the hack out. Now I make fake patients
names, to label fax with the immediate directions to communicate with my VA.
For example, my patients are named:
STOP- talk to me …. Mean… don’t start working on this before talking to me.
Not our patient…
Fax to old office…. ( my old office patient)
SCAM

Multiple patients- (When lab stupidly sends me multiple patients on one fax
and it can’t be saved into one person chart)
I have a few others, can’t think of right now.
This them prepares me for what I am opening. And I can give her directions.
Because most of these that require directions aren’t patient so can’t be filed
in the chart, and described… it’s like you know that fax from X that’s not our
patient…. No idea what you are talking about
