You can now set a status for appointments so it’s easier to track where a patient is in the visit flow and make sure nothing is missed. This update supports smoother handoffs between team members and improves appointment reporting by distinguishing between cancellations and no-shows.
What’s included:
- Update the appointment status directly from the appointment summary
- Use new calendar filters to view appointments in a specific status.
- See the current appointment status directly in the patient’s chart

Agreed! This is SO needed! We are currently merging from Atlas MD to Hint, and are a little disappointed this isn't an option for the calendar...

Ability to show that patient has "arrived/checked in" and "room number" and "checked out"

ALSO - would love as the check in process is developed, I would like to be able to assign a task to the check in process so that reception can be sure all task items have been completed as part of the check in process. For example, we have tons of patients that need a photo added to the chart or have a missing form. I catch it, but would like a check list to show up for reception. Ideally, would like to be able to add a template of tasks as well - so for example, when a new patient joins the practice, would like to use a template to add tasks to reception and billing staff so they would automatically know they have items to do with patient like completing forms and like getting photos.

Curious if this is in the works yet. Seems like such an important tool for ANY office. Our front desk are really getting in their steps aren't they?

This is a huge part of an in office communication system from our receptionist to our nurses. Our receptionist now are having to get up and physically let them know that they are here when this could be added on the calendar scheduling block as a feature.
