We typically do not make changes to providers mid-month; it's too messy on the payment front. When we need a change a pcp for a future date, we have to make notes, explain to the member, send a note to the provider so they don't provide services early and then set a reminder for ourselves to make the change once the date arrives. Would be great if we could future date these changes and the new provider could see their pending new member.
